Another US Lighting Manufacturer Announces Price Increase of 6-8%

Recently, U.S. lighting manufacturer Universal Lighting Technologies (ULT) announced to its customers that from August 1st, the price of its product line will increase by an average of 6-8%.

The following is the specific content of the notice:

Dear ULT customers,

Universal Lighting Technologies (ULT) is constantly working to develop the most technologically advanced and cost-effective products in the lighting market. One of the core tasks of our company is to reduce costs for customers without sacrificing performance and reliability. Although these cost-reduction efforts have been successful, our suppliers’ prices for goods and parts have recently surpassed our efforts to reduce costs.

From August 1, 2018, ULT will increase the average price of our product line by 6-8%. Please note that this price increase will not affect any items currently quoted for effective projects. However, the future will affect all other price lists/quotations.

The new price list will be provided to you on or before July 9, 2018. Please contact your local ULT representative for details.
