Nichia, A Beam Of Light in The Field Of Lighting

Nichia commercialized the very first high luminous blue LEDs after significant investment in 1993. In September of 1996, Nichia combined Yttrium Aluminum Garnet (YAG) phosphor with its innovative blue LEDs to officially produce the first-ever white LEDs with the revolutionary technology. The world suddenly had a new LED light revolution.

People could not see and enjoy these products if Nichia had not invented the white LED.
