Recently, Inventronics successfully reached a cooperation with Sarens from Belgium, one of the world's largest crane manufacturers, to help light up their crane SGC-250 (also known as Big Carl).

Inventronics

SGC-250 is composed of main booms with lengths ranging from 96 meters, 118 meters, 130 meters and 160 meters, which can be extended by the boom, so that the crane has a maximum height of 250 meters and a radius of 275 meters. Its maximum load moment is 250,000KN.M, it can lift 5000 tons on the main boom (40m radius), and it has industry-leading lifting capacity. In addition, it has 6 power units, 12 engines, and 128 wheels. After the official review of the World Records Certification (WRCA), SGC-250 was certified as "the world's largest crane".

The lighting part of SGC-250 uses Inventronics EUD-480SxxxDV series LED driver power supply, which can provide higher electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), waterproof and corrosion resistance, and adapt to cranes exposed to dust, dirt, wind and rain for a long time. In harsh environments such as, snow and high temperature, it can provide controlled and uniform light distribution over a large area, creating a safer lighting environment, and ensuring that the work can be completed smoothly in the dimly lit late night and early morning.

In addition, the use of Inventronics LED drive power also helps to reduce energy consumption and is not easily damaged by vibration.
